BJP government means guarantee of lies and injustice: Rahul Gandhi

Amid the farmers’ protests, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi launched a fresh attack on Prime Minister Narendra Modi, accusing the PM of failing to provide 2 crore jobs every year to the youth in the country, news agency ANI reported.

The latest attack comes as some farmer unions are holding a ‘Delhi Chalo’ march to remind the government of the promises made to them, including minimum support price on their crops, during their year-long agitation more than two years ago. The law giving guarantee is also included.

Rahul Gandhi posted in Hindi on Twitter, “Modi ji, before the ‘new guarantee’, calculate the ‘old guarantee’.”

His post said, “Guarantee of 2 crore jobs every year–false. Guarantee of doubling farmer’s income–false. Guarantee of bringing back black money–false. Guarantee of reducing inflation–false. 15 lakhs.” Guarantee of Rs. On every account–false. Guarantee of women’s safety and dignity–false. Guarantee of creating 100 smart cities–False. Guarantee to strengthen the rupee–False. Guaranteed to show China the red eye–false. Guarantee that I will neither eat nor let anyone eat – liar.

The Congress leader claimed, “The Prime Minister, who has been roaming around with a microscope of false dreams for the last 10 years, is running a fraud business in the country.”

He alleged, “BJP government means guarantee of lies and injustice, Congress will do justice to the dreams of the country.”

Congress leaders are on Bharat Jodo Nyaya Yatra before the Lok Sabha elections.
