Chandigarh influencer recreates Aditi Rao Hydari’s Hiramandi walk; Netflix India reacts | Watch
Aditi Rao Hydari walks the walk in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Netflix show Hiramandi has gone viral. Several Instagram reels have been posted where netizens have imitated her moves. A video of the 54-year-old dancer from Chandigarh performing the walk has impressed the audience. Netflix India has also reacted to Neeru Saini’s video.
Posted on Instagram on June 1, the video has garnered over 17 million views. Netflix India did not miss the opportunity to comment on the video: “Obsessed Neeru, you are bade wow ho”, referring to the original dialogue “You are bade wow”.
In Hiramandi In the web series, Aditi Rao Hydari plays Bibbo Jaan, who performs a ‘mujra’ for Fardeen Khan’s character Nawab. The actor’s walk became extremely popular after it started streaming online.
Bollywood fans would remember the song ‘Madhubala’ from the movie ‘Mohe Pangahat Pe’. Mughal-e-Azam. She was probably the first woman to master this walk. Aditi Rao Hydari had earlier said that while shooting for the song, she was not sure if it was the Gaja Gamini walk or the Swan walk. She said that it was Bhansali who instructed her on what to do and she followed it.
The actress gave full credit for the viral walk to her director. She said that Bhansali had given her precise instructions on when to drop the dupatta and when to turn her head.
Aditi also talked about the peacock walk and the Gajagamini walk in Kathak, which is known as the Moh ki chal. During her comments, she talked about watching Instagram reels of reconstructions of her walk and called it “overwhelming”.
