Court orders opening of seal of Imran’s office
The apex court on Tuesday ordered authorities to open the central office of jailed former prime minister Imran Khan’s Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) party, which was closed nearly two weeks ago.
The Capital Development Authority raided the PTI office in Islamabad on May 24 and shut down the building, alleging it was built in violation of laws. The party challenged the action in the Islamabad High Court, where Justice Saman Rizvi reserved the verdict after completing the hearing on Monday.
