Difference on seat distribution in Mahavikas Aghadi!
Lok Sabha elections will be declared any time and Mahayuti and Maha Vikas Aghadi are emulating each other in an attempt to outwit each other. Mahayuti is confident that it will win more than 45 out of 48 Lok Sabha seats, it has just concluded its important meeting to discuss seat sharing within its alliance and took one step at a time in that direction Is. It will also soon release its final list of candidates, which will be guided by ‘Mahachanakya’ Amit Shah and expertly organized by Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and both his deputies, Devendra Fadnavis and Ajit Pawar. It is also important to understand that anything said in the media has to be ignored.
Media viewpoint may differ, but discussions on seat-sharing within the Mahayuti are going on smoothly. But there are discrepancies with Maha Vikas Aghadi. From the announcements made by the remaining Army spokesperson to the Congress’s rejection of Sharad Pawar’s requests to aspirants… and just when one thinks whatever happened was inevitable, here comes the bouncer of Prakash Ambedkar of the Vanchit Bahujan Aghadi . There is so much misunderstanding in this seat sharing debate within Maha Vikas Aghadi that no one is able to understand what will happen or what will happen from this alliance.
Background of last election
Everyone will agree that after the last Lok Sabha elections, the strength of Mahayuti has increased manifold. At that time Congress was able to win only one seat while NCP was able to win four seats. And because Bharatiya Janata Party and Shiv Sena were in alliance and there was a Narendra Modi wave, this alliance gained 43 seats, of which 18 seats were with Shiv Sena. Later, after the Shiv Sena split, 13 of its MPs followed the lead of Eknath Shinde and joined hands with the BJP to form an alliance. No matter how much Uddhav Thackeray argues that the only reason for the Bharatiya Janata Party’s victory in 2019 was Hindu-heart emperor Balasaheb Thackeray, voters know that Shiv Sena’s victory in that election was entirely due to the strength of the BJP and the able leadership of the Prime Minister. There was a reason. Minister Narendra Modi.

Now, things have changed a lot in the last five years. Important factions within Shiv Sena and NCP broke away and joined the grand alliance with the BJP. As a result, the vast majority of local workers and MPs are supporting Ajit Pawar and Eknath Shinde. Therefore, Mahayuti has decided to contest the elections with all its strength to win 45 out of 48 seats and emerge as a strong force in the upcoming elections. On the contrary, the alliance of the weak Congress, the remaining Sena and the remaining NCP has already ended. No matter how much they want to boast, no one is ready to accept the candidature of Maha Vikas Aghadi. Each of the three felt that endorsing their candidacy was tantamount to endorsing failure.
There is a ruckus in Mahavikas Aghadi. The statements of Congress state president Nana Patole, Vijay Wadettiwar and Balasaheb Thorat seem absurd. As always, Sharad Pawar-led NCP is expressing its confidence and hope in the promise that ‘our senior leader Sharad Pawar will do some magic.’ Voters have by now realized that neither Uddhav Thackeray nor his colleague Sanjay Raut are anything more than gasbags; None of his comments are sentimental or meaningful. They can only hope that they will continue to benefit from the excellent works of late Balasaheb Thackeray. Amidst all this, the concern has increased with the announcement of candidature of Supriya Sule from Baramati and Amol Kirtikar from UBT Group. This only serves to highlight the lack of unity among the three parties in this Maha Aghadi. Vanchit Bahujan Aghadi keeps cornering them from time to time, which only adds to the problem. This is making ‘Maha Vikas Aghadi’ a sinking ship.
Discipline and chaos
A key observation is that Mahayuti solely discusses the developmental initiatives taken, whereas Maha Vikas Aghadi has nothing to say and hence continues to use foul language, taunting and making lewd comments. There is a lack of foresight in this. Therefore, even before the announcement of elections, everyone has accepted that the wind of victory of Mahayuti will start blowing everywhere in Maharashtra. The enthusiasm and discipline of the meetings in Mahayuti is worth seeing, while on the other hand, the chaos in Maha Aghadi is also not hidden.
There is complete turmoil within the Aghadi because Uddhav Thackeray and Sharad Pawar take some decisions, and Congress leaders in Maharashtra have no say in anything as they have no connection with their superiors in Delhi. There is no misunderstanding on seat allocation as the focus of Mahayuti is solely on the victory of the candidate in the elections, on which both NCP and Shiv Sena also agree. The division within the Maha Aghadi is widening every day. I believe that half of Mahayuti’s victory will be achieved in the smooth distribution of seats! Elections are not far away, so let’s see!
