Elite police units from the United States, Canada compete against Putin-ally Chechen and Belarus special forces in the UAE

Elite police squads from the US and Canada compete in the 5th UAE SWAT Challenge against unlikely counterparts: Chechen and Belarusian forces. The Chechen Akhmat Kadyrov Special Police Regiment won a gold medal and a check for $5,000 in a competition at the event. The team was led by Adam Kadyrov, son of Ramzan Kadyrov, the Chechen leader and ally of Russian President Vladimir Putin. According to organizers, Chechen forces showed an “unparalleled display of agility, strength and tactical skill” in the “Tower Event”.
