Amid fears over Israeli plans to launch ground offensive in Gaza’s Rafah, reports emerged that the son of Hamas political chief Ismail Haniyeh was killed in an IDF operation. Hazim Haniyeh, 22, was reportedly murdered on 10 February. Meanwhile, Israeli forces launched airstrikes on Rafah, killing more than 10 people, according to doctors.
