Houthi ‘revenge’ missiles target US-owned oil tanker; Rubymar attack leaves 18-mile oil slick

Houthi rebels targeted a US-owned oil tanker in the Gulf of Aden in the fourth joint US and British attack on 18 targets in Yemen. USS Mason shot down an anti-ship ballistic missile, possibly targeting the oil tanker MV Torment Thor. This attack follows the attack on a British ship last week. The attack on the ship Rubimar caused a massive fire, forcing the ship to be evacuated. It also caused an 18-mile oil spill. See for more information.
