Prime Minister Narendra Modi will on Friday lay the foundation stone of the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in Rewari, Haryana and will dedicate six such hospitals to the country in the next nine in Jammu, Rajkot, Bathinda, Kalyani, Mangalagiri and Rae Bareli. Day.

A city court on Thursday rejected a plea filed by former Tamil Nadu minister V Senthil Balaji to adjourn the hearing in the money laundering case filed against him by the Enforcement Directorate. Principal Sessions Judge (PSJ) S Alli extended Senthil Balaji’s remand till February 16 after the prosecution produced Senthil Balaji through video conferencing (VC) from the Central Jail here.
“The accused was produced through the VC. Charges are to be framed by February 16, 2024. Till then, the accused was brought before him in person. The remand has been extended till then.”
The judge said, the court does not find any merit in adjourning the trial as requested by the petitioner/accused and the petition was filed to prolong the proceedings, which deserves to be dismissed.
