Thomas Kingston, the son-in-law of Prince and Princess Michael of Kent, was found dead at an address in Gloucestershire on Sunday evening.
Buckingham Palace has announced that Thomas Kingston, the financier husband of Prince and Princess Michael of Kent, daughter of Lady Gabriella Kingston, has died aged 45.
A statement on behalf of Lady Gabriella Kingston and her family said, “It is with extreme sadness that we announce the death of our beloved husband, son and brother, Thomas Kingston.”
“Tom was an extraordinary man who brightened the lives of all who knew him. His death is a major blow to the entire family and we request you to respect our privacy while mourning his passing,” the statement further said.

Emergency services arrived at the scene shortly after 6pm, the report said.
An investigation will be conducted to establish the cause of death but there are no suspicious circumstances and no other parties are involved.

A spokesperson for Buckingham Palace said: “The King and Queen have been informed of Thomas’s death and join Prince and Princess Michael of Kent and everyone who knew them in mourning the loss of a much-loved member of the family. Has happened.
