The Indian expatriate in Abu Dhabi is full of excitement to welcome Prime Minister Modi, who is scheduled to be in the UAE today for a two-day visit to the country. PM Modi is scheduled to attend a bilateral meeting with UAE President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. Additionally, he will meet Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, who serves as Vice President, Prime Minister and Defense Minister of the UAE. In a statement before leaving for the UAE, PM Modi said the aim of his visit is to “further enhance India’s bilateral relations” with the UAE.

Apart from inaugurating the BAPS Hindu Temple in Abu Dhabi, PM Modi will also deliver the keynote address as the guest of honor at the World Government Summit 2004.
