Russia and America came face to face in the United Nations Security Council meeting on Gaza war. The war of words between the envoys of the two countries soon took an ugly turn when Vasily Nebenzia told Robert Wood not to lecture Russia on wars. He said that America has destroyed Syria and Afghanistan. He also accused the US of giving Israel license to kill Palestinians in Gaza. The American envoy hit back by citing Russia’s war in Ukraine.
