The Israeli military says four more Israeli hostages have died in Gaza.

Jerusalem: The Israeli military said on Monday that four more Israeli hostages kidnapped by Hamas on October 7 have died in captivity and their bodies are with the Islamist group.

The military identified the four men as Haim Peri, Yoram Metzger, Amiram Cooper and Nadav Popplewell, who were shown alive in a hostage video posted by Hamas.

Military spokesman Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari said the army would be able to ensure Israel’s security in any Gaza ceasefire and hostage release agreement negotiated by the government.
