Yemen's Houthi rebels target 3 ships in the Red Sea and Arabian Sea

Houthi rebels also targeted a US ship in the Arabian Sea.

Sana:

Yemen’s Houthi rebels carried out military operations targeting three ships in the Red Sea and the Arabian Sea, the group’s military spokesman Yahya Sari said on Wednesday.

The Houthi militia, which controls the most populous parts of Yemen and is allied to Iran, has for months attacked ships off its coast and says it is acting in solidarity with Palestinians fighting Israel in Gaza.

Sari said in a televised speech that Houthi militants targeted two ships, Roza and Vantage Dream, in the Red Sea with several missiles and drones.

Sari said the third ship, the US vessel Maersk Seletar, was targeted by multiple drones in the Arabian Sea.
