Court has extended the ED custody of Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal till April 1.

A court on Thursday extended the custody of the Enforcement Directorate Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal In case of excise policy, till 1st April.

The agency had sought seven days’ custody of the AAP chief, but the court said he would have to appear before the court at 11 am on April 1.

The ED had produced him before special judge Kaveri Baweja of the Rouse Avenue court as his present custody was ending on Thursday.

Ed In his latest remand petition, he said that during custodial interrogation, his statements were recorded for five days and he was giving “evasive answers”.

It said that statements of three other people have also been recorded during remand.
