Houthi rebels have claimed attacks on the Israeli port city of Eilat and an Israeli ship in the Gulf of Aden. A Houthi military spokesman said cruise missiles and ballistic missiles were fired at both targets on 25 April. The captain of another ship heard a loud bang and saw splashes and smoke billowing from the sea where the Liberian-flagged MSC Darwin VI was moored. Meanwhile, the Greek frigate Hydra, part of the EU’s Mission Aspides in the Red Sea, and Britain’s HMS Diamond warship intercepted Yemeni rebel drones on the same day. See for more information.
