I appeal to you to vote against dictatorship: CM Kejriwal’s wife Sunita

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind KejriwalAccording to PTI, his wife Sunita on Sunday appealed to the public as a “daughter of Mother India” to vote against “dictatorship” and save democracy.

When she sought support for Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) candidate Mahabal Mishra in the West Delhi constituency, she called her husband a “lion” that no one can break.

Sunita Kejriwal stood through the sunroof of a vehicle and greeted voters and was showered with flower petals.

According to PTI, he said Arvind Kejriwal was jailed because he built schools, provided free electricity and opened mohalla clinics.

“Your Chief Minister is a ‘lion’. No one can break or bend him. He is the son of Bharat Mata. Being the daughter of Bharat Mata, I appeal to you to vote against dictatorship and save democracy. ” “Please understand the value of your vote,” the news agency reported on Sunday.

As Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal is behind bars in a money laundering case linked to the Delhi Excise policy matter, his wife is leading AAP’s election campaign and holding road shows.

Sunita Kejriwal will reportedly campaign for AAP candidates in South Delhi and New Delhi constituencies as well as in Gujarat, Haryana and Punjab, party leaders said, according to PTI.

AAP organizes ‘Walk for Kejriwal’ walkathon protest

Meanwhile, Aam Aadmi Party on Sunday organized a walkathon named ‘Walk for Kejriwal’ in support of Arvind Kejriwal.

The protest-cum-walkathon was organized at CR Park in Delhi.

According to ANI report, AAP supporters were seen carrying flags with Kejriwal’s picture and slogans like ‘Reply to jail by vote’ written on them.

Delhi minister and AAP leader Atishi told ANI, “People of Delhi have come here to support Arvind Kejriwal. BJP thought that if they put Arvind Kejriwal in jail, AAP will not be able to run the election campaign. But , are people of Delhi.” Campaigning for Arvind Kejriwal.

Party leader Saurabh Bhardwaj, who participated in it, said that PM Narendra Modi is very nervous.

“We are running a campaign named ‘Jail Ka Jawab Vote Se’ in Delhi against the arrest of Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal. Our youth wing, our Lok Sabha candidates from South Delhi and New Delhi have organized a walkathon. PM Narendra Modi is very nervous.” The way he has changed his stance in his election rallies, it has become clear that he too is confident that the opposition is coming to power,” he said, according to ANI.

Taking aim at BJP, he said, ‘We have installed a washing machine here and if you put any corrupt leader in this machine, he comes out clean.’

The Delhi Chief Minister has been lodged in Tihar jail since April 1 after his arrest by the Enforcement Directorate in the Delhi Excise Policy case.
