Naxalites kill a tribal man allegedly on suspicion of being a police informer Gadchiroli district of MaharashtraPolice said on Friday, PTI reported.

According to PTI, the victim was identified as Ashok Talande, a resident of Dhamrancha village in Aheri taluka of the district, who was found dead on a road in the early hours of Friday.

According to PTI, police said that a Naxalite pamphlet was recovered from the body, in which it was written that he was a police informer.

However, a senior police officer told PTI that the deceased was not a police informer.

The reason behind his murder is being investigated, the news agency reported on Friday.

Meanwhile, three people have been arrested for allegedly murdering a waiter in Navi Mumbai’s Vashi, a police officer said on Friday.

Deputy Commissioner of Police (Zone I) Pankaj Dahane said the body of Mukesh alias Mantu Kumar Yadav was found on Thursday and arrests were made within 24 hours.

“Yadav was murdered while resisting the robbery attempt. The accused tried to snatch his bag. Another person who came to help Yadav was also attacked. We arrested Mohammad Ali Mubarak Shaikh and Shahnawaz Hanif Shaikh And then caught Imran Yakub Ali Shaikh from Malad, Mumbai.” ,” the DCP said.

The officer said that the three arrested people are residents of Mumbra and Imran is a history-sheeter.

In another incident, a Pune resident has been arrested for impersonating a policeman in an attempt to get his girlfriend’s dismissal from a hotel in Navi Mumbai canceled. Police According to PTI, the official said on Friday.

He said accused Salman Tajamuddin Mulani was caught by Panvel Town Police on the night of March 27 after a confrontation with the manager of a hotel in Kolkhe area.

Mulani, 31, dressed in khaki uniform, accused the hotel manager of “unjustly” sacking his girlfriend and demanded his reinstatement, the officer said. But the alert hotel manager called the police, who arrested Mulani.

He told that the accused is a resident of Chakan, Pune and runs a chicken shop.

Nitin Thackeray, senior inspector, Panvel Town police station, said they were trying to find out whether Mulani had earlier impersonated a police officer and duped others.
