Assistant Chief of the Metropolitan Police Department Remy Kyle said officers were called after the dispute began inside the nightclub and “spills onto the street”.

The six people who were shot suffered non-life-threatening injuries, police said.

Police arrested a suspect nearby and recovered a firearm, Kyle said. Police did not immediately provide additional details about the suspect or the reason for the altercation.
