Priest stabbed multiple times during church service in Sydney, caught on camera

He walks up to the priest, who has a cross in his hand and is reciting a lesson, takes out his knife and starts stabbing at him rapidly, shows a video, to shocked congregation in a Sydney church There was a collective scream.

This is the second incident of stabbing in Sydney in three days.

Police said that the attacker has been arrested.

It is seen in the video that people are running to help the priest and controlling the knife-wielding attacker.

Emergency services said four people were being treated for “non-life-threatening injuries”, reports AFP news agency.

Local media said the incident occurred at Christ the Good Shepherd Church.

In the first incident on Saturday, police ruled out terror or ideology as a motive after six people were killed in a knife attack by a man at one of Sydney’s busiest shopping centres.
