”She cried for terrorists”: Nadda targets Sonia Gandhi

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) President JP Nadda on Wednesday launched a fresh attack on Congress leader Sonia Gandhi, saying she had shed tears for the terrorists killed in the Batla House encounter in 2008.

Campaigning in Bihar’s Madhubani ahead of the second phase of Lok Sabha elections, Nadda said, “Terrorists were killed during the Batla encounter and their (Congress) leaders said that Sonia Gandhi cried.” She cried for the terrorists. What is your relation with traitors? What is the reason for your sympathy? What do you like about them?”

On 19 September 2008, Delhi Police conducted an operation in the national capital to capture hidden Indian Mujahideen terrorists in which Delhi Police Inspector Mohan Chandra Sharma and two Indian Mujahideen terrorists Atif and Sajid were killed.

The BJP president said that Congress and its allies always stand in support of those who are anti-national and weaken the country.

He said, “They (Congress) are standing with those and are sympathetic towards those who weaken the country. This is an arrogant alliance, the INDI alliance. Will you support them?” Nadda said.

Earlier in the day, addressing a rally in Bihar’s Khagaria, Nadda said Prime Minister Narendra Modi has changed the “definition of politics” during his tenure and elections are now fought on issues of “vikasvad” (development). Let’s go.

“PM Modi has changed the definition of history, culture and politics. 10 years ago, elections were held on the basis of who belongs to which caste, which region, belongs to upper class or lower class, on this river of Ganga Whether from the coast or from that coast, whether it is mountains or plains, there used to be vote bank politics, elections were held on the basis of caste, religion…but in the last 10 years, PM Modi has ended all this and now development “Elections are held on that basis,” Nadda said.

The BJP President claimed that the way the country prospered during the 10-year tenure of PM Modi, all sections of the society have become stronger due to the policies of PM Modi.

“When we talk about ‘development’ we can also say that the way the country prospered in the last 10 years, the way the villages, the poor, the Dalits, the oppressed, the backward, the women, the youth, our farmers became stronger. β€œIt is all because of the policies of PM Modi,” Nadda said.

In the first phase of Lok Sabha elections, voting was held in Jamui, Nawada, Gaya and Aurangabad of Bihar on April 19. Voting will also be held in all the remaining six phases of the general elections in the state, which has 40 Lok Sabha seats. ,
