The Burning Train: Blaming freight train passes through Canadian town

In Ontario, Canada, worrying scenes emerged when five train cars caught fire while heading towards the downtown area.

The London Fire Department responded immediately, reported no injuries and launched an investigation into possible arson.

Platoon Chief Colin Shevell revealed that precautions were taken to separate train cars carrying hazardous materials. The fire, starting from the railway lines near Strathroy, raged en route to London, the cause as yet unknown.

The CPKCR-owned train stopped near an office building and apartment complex. The prompt action of emergency crews resulted in the engines being disconnected, allowing firefighters to contain and extinguish the fire.
