US considering sanctions on Iran for supporting Russia’s invasion of Ukraine

The United States will soon impose new sanctions on Iran over its support for Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, the White House said Thursday.
National Security Council spokesman John Kirby told reporters, “In response to Iran’s continued support for Russia’s brutal war crimes, we will impose additional sanctions on Iran in the coming days and we will also impose additional sanctions on Iran if it sells ballistic missiles to Russia.” Ready to move forward.”
Kirby said, “Iran is not helping Russia for free. In return for Iran’s support, Russia is offering Tehran unprecedented defense cooperation. So overall Iran is asking Russia for billions of dollars worth of military equipment. “
