‘Run for Modi’, ‘flash mob’ event in London to garner support for PM Modi

Overseas Friends of BJP UK (UP Chapter) organized a spectacular “Run for Modi” event in the vibrant city of London on Sunday.

Despite being tagged as “Run for Modi”, the event took the form of a leisurely walk, symbolizing solidarity and support for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s re-election campaign. According to a release from the organizing committee, the Indian community in Britain demonstrated unwavering support towards the BJP and Prime Minister Modi, making the event a resounding success.

Despite the drizzly weather, the event witnessed a huge turnout with over 500 enthusiastic participants joining the walk. This beautiful route started from Westminster Pier, passed through the heart of London and ended at the iconic Tower Bridge. Dressed in vibrant colors, the participants exuded positivity and enthusiasm and marched in unison in support of Prime Minister Modi, the release said.

The highlight of the event was a captivating flash mob that unfolded against the backdrop of the majestic London Bridge, which enthralled the audience and participants alike. It also said that the lively and energetic demonstration expressed the feeling of unity and harmony among the Indian community in Britain, underscoring their unwavering support for the BJP and PM Modi.

Speaking about the event, Anand Arya (Vice President of OFBJP UK) expressed his deep gratitude to the Indian community for their tremendous participation and fervent support. Suresh Mangalagiri (GS OFBJP UK) commented, “The ‘Run for Modi’ program exemplifies the deep admiration and loyalty the Indian community has for Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the BJP.

“Despite the adverse weather conditions, the enthusiasm and spirit displayed by the participants was truly commendable,” said Darshan Grewal, Vice President, OFBJP UK.
