Three Indians die as car crashes after flying 20 feet above bridge in US

Three Indian women from Gujarat died in a crash in the United States when their speeding vehicle lost control, hit a divider, and went flying 20 feet in the air before hitting trees on the opposite side of a bridge. . The incident occurred on Interstate 85 in Greenville County, South Carolina.

The women have been identified as Rekhaben Dilipbhai Patel, Sangeetaben Bhaveshbhai Patel and Manishaben Rajendrabhai Patel. He was a resident of Borsad tehsil of Anand district.

The wreckage of the vehicle was found crashed into a tree, scattered into several pieces.

“When the vehicle crossed all four lanes of traffic, it actually struck the trees at least 20 feet above the ground,” Chief Deputy Coroner Mike Ellis of the Greenville County Coroner’s Office told FoxCarolina.com.

Ellis added, “When you have family, probably relatives, you never want to see three dead.”

According to reports, the driver of the vehicle was taken to the hospital with injuries.

Ellis said the SUV was traveling above the posted speed limit. He further added, “You rarely see a vehicle that leaves the road at such a high speed that it crosses 4-6 lanes of traffic and crashes into trees for about 20 feet.”

He said there were no other vehicles involved in the accident, indicating that the vehicle’s high speed was solely responsible for the fatal accident.
